Ok......I'm not so good about updating this blog on a regular basis. It's already been 2 weeks since my last entry. I'll try and be better about entering things in!

A lot has happened since the last entry on the 25th.

The week of Jan 28-Feb 1st was Catholic Schools week for Katie, so she had pajama day, tropical dress up day, 50's day, and purple day. She had a great time dressing up that week. Thanks to Grandma Betty for helping me make her poodle skirt. I was able to put together the poodle, but as far as the sewing of the skirt, I left that up to Grandma Betty. It turned out so cute!

Katie had her first dance performance at the Mall of America. She and her team, the "Sugar Babies" did a great job. They were so adorable! Her next performance will be in March. Yes, I have to attend a "make-up" class this week just to ensure I know exactly what I'm doing. We also have to purchase a "make-up kit" for each costume so all the dancers look the same. Since Katie is not a big make-up fan, it should be interesting. She LOVES dance, so if the other girls put on the make-up for the performance, I'm sure she'll follow suit.

Madison has been doing great! She is just adorable and such a great baby. Since the last update we went in for a heart catheterization and open heart surgery. She had her 2nd of the 3 surgeries (the Glenn procedure) yesterday and is doing great so far. As I write this posting she is resting comfortably and Daddy is resting in the rocking chair next to her as well. It was a LONG day yesterday, but we are so happy and blessed that she is doing so well. The doctors said everything looks great so far and hopefully she will get the chest tubes and maybe the ventilater out tomorrow.

I have also included a few photos from a little "photo shoot" at our house by my friend Diana! Thanks Di for taking such great photos of Madison. Diana and I both LOVE our camera's and LOVE to take pictures. It's SO much fun. Actually we have Diana to thank for suggesting I set up this family blog as well. THANKS DI! It will definitely be something we always cherish.....I just have to remember to write updates on a regular basis!!!

So glad that "The Glenn" is behind precious Madison! I will take that peanut's picture anytime! What a gift it was for me!

Praying for Maddie to feel like her old little self soon!
